MACG Member Groups

All groups are 'self-help', however they all have a number of members who possess above average skills to assist new members, and from time to time, most groups conduct classes and workshops with specialists from external sources. 

All groups have an elected Coordinator who is available to speak with interested new members. All groups meet in the MACG Centre, Maleny Showgrounds, Maleny Stanley River Road.

The groups meet at the following times:

• Quilting: Monday - 9.00am

• Embroidery: 1st and 3rd Monday of the month - 1.00pm

• Fine Art: Tuesday - 9.00am

• Crochet: 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month - 1.00pm

• Life Drawing:2nd Tuesday of the month - 2.00pm

• Mixed Craft Evening Group: Tuesday - 7.00pm

• Sewing: Wednesday - 9.00am

• Porcelain Painting/Decorative Art: Wednesday - 1.00pm

• Textile Art: Every 2nd Thursday - 9.00am

• Pottery and Clay Working: Thursday - 9.00am

• Creative Glass:Thursday - 1.00pm

• Wood Crafting:Friday - 9.00am

• Machine Knitting: 2nd and 4th Friday - 9.00am

• Spinning and Weaving: Friday - 1.00pm
