The Clay workers were nominated to make an item for our
Christmas raffle. A lot of thought needed to make something that our group of
nearly 30 people could participate in the making including many new
clay workers. A birdbath was suggested and pots for plants would give our new
people a chance to learn a new technique in clay hand building. A contemporary
design was the choice of the group and work started. Clay purchased and all
hands willing and many beautiful pots were created. And the birdbath was
crafted by some of the long term clay workers. It has now drying for about 10 weeks and is waiting to be fired in
our electric kiln and will be finished with pot plants. Many have learnt a lot
from this one project

ReplyDeleteOh wow, this Christmas fair is truly adorable. Keep sharing such posts dear. I am also going to attend such a crafts fair with my preschool kids. This event is going to be organized at famous domestic event space in Chicago. The kids are really excited.
ReplyDeleteThis design is spectacular! You definitely know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Excellent job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
