Autumn Fair - not long to go now
Less than a month to go before the Autumn Fair. Everyone has been busy working towards a successful fair.
The raffle prize of a queen size quilt looks great and would grace any bedroom with beauty and panache.
The Fair will be at the Maleny Community Centre from the 29th April until the 1st May. The doors will open at 9am each morning and close at 4pm on Friday and Saturday and 3pm Sunday. All the items on sale have been made by members of the Maleny Arts and Crafts Group.
There will be a great selection of unique handcrafted items on display and available for sale. Choose from pottery and clay work, glassware, fine art including paintings, fabric creations including quilted, sewn or woven items. Also jams and preserves, fashion items including knitted items and hand painted silk. Lots of other treasures available. There will be some woodwork available as the woodworkers will be at the Maleny Wood Expo at the Showgrounds.
Remember Mother's Day is the following Sunday, but there will be handcrafts available for every member of the family.
Light refreshments will also be available.
